Technical Product Manager (Angie ADC)#

Who we are#

We are the team behind Angie Software. The core of the company is a group of experienced developers who stood at the origins of nginx and are now building its evolutionary successor — Angie. Our products are already gaining traction worldwide, and we have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to outpace market giants like F5, Citrix, and Radware.

Angie ADC is a modern, enterprise-grade application delivery controller. It handles traffic routing, load balancing, SSL offloading, and security — everything needed to keep applications running smoothly inside complex network infrastructures. We are convinced that the key to winning lies not only in the technical excellence of the engine, but also in a deep understanding of market needs that turns complex things into a product people actually want.

Our culture is informal and flat: we talk to each other as equals, without bureaucracy or unnecessary formalities. Decisions are made quickly, and arguments matter more than job titles.

What you will be doing:#

  • Owning the product strategy for Angie ADC — from vision and roadmap to backlog prioritization and success metrics. You will be the person who decides what the product becomes tomorrow;

  • Going deep into the domain (load balancing, routing, network protocols, ADC) and translating market requirements and technical possibilities into clear functional specifications for the development teams;

  • Acting as the connecting link and the voice of the customer: building effective collaboration with the architect, designer, project manager, and commercial teams, taking part in pre-sale activities, and conveying the value of the product to both engineers and business stakeholders;

  • Researching competitors, analyzing trends, and identifying new growth opportunities — not by copying, but by thinking creatively and proposing better solutions.

Who we are looking for:#

  • Sees the product not as a set of features, but as a strategic tool for solving real customer problems;

  • Has a strong technical background: at least 5 years of experience designing high-load systems or system software as a technical product manager, architect, or analyst. Understands how networks work at L4–L7. Experience with networking software or load balancers is something you really need;

  • Feels at home with architectural frameworks and patterns, can talk to developers on equal footing, and gets up to speed on complex technical nuances quickly;

  • Can switch context from "how this works" to "which pain this solves" and make a convincing case to any audience — from engineers to top management;

  • Wants to build a product that companies around the world will choose, and is ready to shape it from the earliest stages.

What we offer:#

  • A real opportunity to influence a world-class product and see your decisions come to life without the inertia of large corporations;

  • Work in a team of recognized industry experts, where expertise, initiative, and ownership are valued;

  • A flat structure in which your voice truly matters and bureaucracy simply does not exist;

  • A competitive salary, private medical insurance, paid training and conferences — we are invested in your professional growth;

  • An accredited IT company and transparent terms.

Work format: hybrid or full-time office (open for discussion), Savyolovskaya metro station, Factoria business center.
