Pre-sale Engineer#
We are the team behind Angie Software. The core of the company is a group of experienced developers who stood at the origins of nginx and are now building its evolutionary successor — Angie. Our products are already gaining traction worldwide, and we have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to outpace market giants like F5, Citrix, and Radware.
Our culture is informal and flat: we talk to each other as equals, without bureaucracy or unnecessary formalities. Decisions are made quickly, and arguments matter more than job titles. Becoming the technical face of Angie in front of customers and partners: uncovering their real needs rather than simply answering questions, and proposing solutions that address actual infrastructure pain points; Running in-depth technical presentations and demos, showing the product's key capabilities so that even the most complex networking concepts become clear and convincing for the audience; Owning pilot projects end-to-end; Collecting feedback from customers and partners, surfacing bottlenecks, and influencing the product's direction based on real-world experience. Sees pre-sale not just as "technical answers", but as a strategic role at the intersection of engineering and customer trust; Has a higher technical education and at least 3 years of hands-on engineering experience backed by real work with networks, protocols, and infrastructure software; Understands how network protocols and load balancing work across OSI layers; experience with ADC solutions (F5, Citrix, Radware) is a huge plus that will help you get up to speed quickly; Is confident in front of any audience: equally able to deliver a presentation for technical specialists and to lead negotiations with business decision-makers, adjusting language and arguments accordingly; Is genuinely customer-focused, yet has engineering integrity: does not sell hot air, but helps the customer find the best solution, even when that means taking an unconventional path; Wants to shape the way the company's products grow on the market, working hand in hand with the development, product, and sales teams. A real opportunity to be the key link between technology and customers: your expertise will directly influence the company's commercial success; Work in a small team of recognized industry experts, where depth, initiative, and the willingness to take on technical leadership in customer conversations are valued; A flat structure free of bureaucracy: you will make technical decisions rather than read from a script; Room for professional growth, backed by a competitive salary, private medical insurance, and paid training and conferences; An accredited IT company and transparent terms. Work format: hybrid or full-time office (open for discussion), Savyolovskaya metro station, Factoria business center. If you're interested, send your resume to .What you will be doing:#
