The company "Web-Server" has released a new version of the Russian solution for managing traffic of containerized applications in Kubernetes, Angie Ingress Controller (ANIC) 0.3.0. This significant update includes a number of key changes that will enhance the user experience and expand the functionality of the product.
One of the main innovations in ANIC 0.3.0 is the addition of support for the annotation angie.software/force-ssl-redirect
, which allows users to forcibly redirect insecure HTTP traffic to secure HTTPS, thereby correcting potential SSL usage errors.
Additionally, the new version has introduced CRDs (Common Resource Definitions), such as Virtual Server, Virtual Server Route, TransportServer, and Policies, in Helm charts. Now, users who utilize Helm can leverage these definitions in their projects, significantly expanding the configuration capabilities of the web server compared to the standard Ingress resource.
Previously, ANIC was included in the register of domestic software (No. 20891 dated December 29, 2023). This confirms the high quality and compliance of the product with local standards and requirements.
Today, ANIC can be deployed as an Ingress resource on any Kubernetes platform. ANIC is based on the Angie PRO web server, which allows for the creation of secure, scalable, high-performance environments using a Russian solution with professional migration and support services in the Russian language.
