The integration with Angie PRO enhances the functionality of SolidWall WAF, for example, enabling support for the HTTP/3 protocol.

The company "Web-Server" has confirmed the compatibility of the Russian solution SolidWall WAF with the web server Angie PRO.

"The use of the intelligent network firewall for web application protection, SolidWall, in conjunction with the Russian web server Angie PRO addresses the primary needs of companies and organizations in a context where they prefer to use domestically developed software products in their infrastructure. These solutions will help protect web applications from a wide range of threats. Additionally, the integration with Angie PRO enhances the functionality of SolidWall WAF, for example, enabling support for the HTTP/3 protocol," said Grigory Vasilyev, head of the application security department at SolidSoft.

As noted by Zaur Abasmirzoev, the CEO of the Russian web server developer Angie, both products are widely used in critical information infrastructure (CII). "The compatibility tests conducted between Angie PRO and SolidWall further confirm the enhanced reliability and security of business protection against cyber threats, considering the trend towards the adoption of domestic infrastructure software as part of import substitution," emphasized the expert.

The SolidWall WAF intelligent network firewall is designed to protect web applications and their users from cyberattacks, identifying targeted attacks on web applications and mobile application backends, and ensuring the protection of business logic from bots and malicious activity. The solution seamlessly integrates into the secure software development lifecycle (sSDLC), allowing the automation of protection for new features and monitoring user behavior.

SolidWall WAF possesses detailed models of the protected application's operation and signature-based behavioral anomaly detection methods. This provides a high level of protection against simple types of attacks and complex targeted impacts. Tools for suppressing false positives and the application of ML algorithms facilitate the rapid deployment of SolidWall WAF.

Previously, the Russian web server Angie PRO underwent certification for compatibility with domestic operating systems: Red OS, Astra Linux Special Edition, ROSA Chrome 12 Server, Alt, and their FSTEC versions Alt SP, and was also included in the registry of domestic software (No. 17604). The web server has backward compatibility with the latest version of nginx, allowing users to transition to a domestic solution without significant costs and service downtime. The web server supports the ACME protocol, which simplifies the process of working with website digital certificates, eliminating the need for third-party solutions like EFF Certbot and allowing Angie to compete with solutions like Caddy in this regard.
