# What's New in Angie for Better Web Server Monitoring

In September 2023, we introduced new ways to organize monitoring in the Angie web server by adding Angie Console Light.

In September 2023, we [introduced](https://en.angie.software/news/articles/vstrechaite-console-light/) new ways to organize monitoring in the Angie web server. Specifically, we added Angie Console Light — a lightweight visual console for real-time activity monitoring. It displays key load and performance metrics of the server.

We have now included a link to the list of configuration files loaded on the server in the visual interface of Angie Console Light. The contents of each file can be viewed in a compact format with syntax highlighting (About — Configs widget).

A distinctive feature of the console is the display of real-time metrics for a specific instance of the web server. The page updates at a configurable interval that the user can set themselves.
